Cordero Lee

Drop-In Coordinator

Don’t tell anyone else but...

I sometimes wish that I was the main character in a real life video game.

Most recent discovery:

That I have no control over anyone’s life or anyone’s reaction to a situation.

My first job:

Was working as a food server/waiter at a retirement home called “The Lodge at Paulin Creek.” I got in to the job thinking that I would enjoy it because I helped take care of my grandfather when I was younger.

When I’m not at VOICES...

I’m working at SAY Tamayo House. It is a youth transition facility that helps youth ages 18-24.

My favorite thing about working at VOICES is...

The people that I work with. Every day we come in even with the problems we have in our personal lives. We still find a way to put it behind us long enough to help whoever. I don’t think that I would have the same opinion of this job if the people that I see everyday did not like what they were doing or if they were just doing it for the paycheck.
